The Paperbark Maple (Acer griseum) is a small, deciduous, rounded tree with slender upright branching. The Paperbark Maple has soft green leaves that change to scarlet in fall. But perhaps it’s most appealing feature is the bark. Throughout the year, papery sheets of old bark peel to expose cinnamon-brown new bark.
