The Scarlet Oak (Quercus coccinea) is a fast growing Oak tree that is primarily native to the Eastern United States. Scarlet Oaks prefer dry soil types, but can handle moist soil types as well. They do not like alkaline soils, though.

For best results, plant in full sun. This tree has beautiful Scarlet colored fall foliage with glossy green leaves throughout the summer.
